How time Flies! (Office Office-2)

.
.
M writin this blog after a while now..for..to me the last 2 months flew past like wind!
It seems it was yesterday when I joined systique n now suddenly I realize that the cozy training days r over!
What I'm trying here is to fit in d trainin experience in this piece of blog but smhow it is kinda difficult to decide whr to start from..

Lemme start from whr I left the earlier post..With the technical trainin done n the test saga over..we were dreadin the next thing to follow..
The next thing in line were the in house projects..but they wernt the cause of worry..the very fact we might hav to "part ways" n go to different domains/cubicles wasnt a cheering thought at all..But then there was d surrrprise..yes d domains wer differnt but we all sat in the same sem haal :) To top dat..the entire floor was empty which meant Total HullaGulla@D8 Basement :D

The days to come were hectic..we were gettin used to the idea of "actually working"...Various techie "jargons" were introduced to us and Teams,Deadlines and Submissions became part of our "Work Culture"...but..but..but.."we are we"..so we never compromised on the fun part!
Diwali time came in and the entire batch rocked! We put in our hearts, souls n brains(if any) to make the Onset Prog a success...we sang, danced, tried to act :P n even turned into javed akhtars n gulzars to transform d holy Sutta number into d Onset Song ;)
N who can forget the Birthday Bashes! Gawd had such a fantab birthday at office..Thanx guys :)Yummy cakes, Zabardasti ki parties, Birthday Bumps, the surprises, the plannings and the daant phatkaar! Wohah it was fun!

Now the final ppts are due n everone is busy makin all kinds of docs n submissions..yet u will never find the TT table empty or the sem hall quiet!
Thats d spirit of Onset 08 :)

Aaah!
The days to come will be different......
You wud have to hold back ur steps from going to the D-8 Basement once u step out of the Cabs...
you wud miss the vibrancy in the sem hall..the guitar n the karaoke sessions..the sath sath lunchin munchin..the F.R.I.E.N.D.S...the muzicc(The Shef type)..the movies...the crazzy talks..the Coffee breaks..the Nautanki..the photu sessions..the walks.. the meethi saunf..the cars mein chakkar..the befazul ke plans!

Or wud it be any different??
I know one thing for sure..the befazul ki plannings wud never end :P
For the rest...Ill let u know...
Later :)

Office Office :)

.
.
Hmm...Finally It has happened!! I have moved from the vella chunk of the society to the 'Respectable', 'Earning' and the 'KaamKaaji' lot!!
And for all those who r suspecting my case...hey m prepared wid all proof!! Ive got my first Pay check to effectively Validate that! :)

The lucky company that I gave the opportunity to have my name in its employee database happens to be Hughes Systique ... I shall try my best not to dubaao the company ;)

The joinin date was 15th sept...full 4 months after my Engg exams...so I had ample time to laze around..ghoomo phiro..get bored..n get terribly out of touch of my non existant programming skills :P

Anyways..finally the D Day came..N I was all set to join the great bandwagon of IT professionals! As expected, I was a lil nervous the day before..I feared the geeks (the NSITians,IIITians n the lot!)that I would have to jhelo in the coming days!

I reached the office premises before time..thats coz I started early considering the office is 40 kms from my place. The first impression of the office building was lyk...well..ohhh..ok..is this the one! This Dhinchakly painted piece ;). Jst kidding..the place is nyc, small n comfy..The interiors are nicely done..n the best part of the setup is the Cafetaria..where we are served free lunch n ofcourse the yummy mouth freshner after it :).Now after 3 weeks of joinin..the place seems lyk it was forever mine!

The first day was largely occupied with completin the joinin formalities, gettin to know the 'Geeks'..ohh well a thought about the geeks...They all are good, normal, warm people...they may be phodu types..but they know how to have fun too!!

So from the next day onwards our sessions for the Training began..they were a mix of Orientation programmes in the first week...HR,IT,the MD of the company,Company Policies,The Renu Mattoo session...while we slept through the sessions..we made 'judicious' use of the free time by indulging in endless rounds of Dumb Charades, Cows n Bulls, The Teela sessions n ya ofcourse the Adda Talks! :) Also thr wer Bdday parties n the frisbee gaming championships!

The next week came n it introduced us to certain technical sessions n we continued with the 'judicious' use of time... Though this time the sessions seemed longer than before and various new 'Jargons' were introduced to us which made lil sense ;)!!

Then there was the third week...was the week when the Sine wave went to bottom peak!
This week was damn tiring! The batch(29 ppl) were devided into 2 grps..protocols n applications..n now seperate sessions were held. The hours became longer, the schedule tighter, the technical details grew messier, the 'Jargons' heavier...no syncronised breaks meant less masti too :(!! But then the gr8 respite came for us! Yes then came The Pay Day :) n seeing the first Pay made us feel worthy of something.. :) n happier too!! :)

Now jst another week of trainin is left..n then would come the real test..Ohh test reminds me that we actually had to go though the Test Saga as well..but the engineering experience came in handy this tym..n we managed well :P

So..thats the story so far..I actually loving the office experience...N I luv to say that m not following Mrs Mattoo's theory ;) for Ive made some fantab frens here :)

Thats it for now! More later :)

Jonathan Livingston Seagull

.
By RICHARD BACH

Well well..this has been my latest read. It is unbelievable to find a book as thin as this one to make so much sense! It competes with Who moved my cheese(WMMC) in regards with the no. of pages..but is a sure winner...thanx to the innumerable pictures of the beautiful Seagull! Well if u r wondering wats this Seagull thing...then heres the Curtain raiser for U... A seagull is a bird!( Similar to WMMC again..there the main protoganists were mice :P )

So through the tail err tale of a Seagull, Mr. Bach has taught us some worthy lessons... These are

- Questioning

- Being Fearless

- Practicing

- Quest for Freedom

- Self Belief

- Affection/Love

- Forgiveness

The seagull named Johnathan had always been different. His interests lied in Flying while the members of his community were busy in hunting and fighting for the little food available near the shore. He was scolded by his parents for behaving "differently" and pressurised him to choose an apt future for self. John obliged but he knew his heart lied in flying, n practicing the art to know the limits he could reach. He practiced hard, faultered many a times but ultimatlely corrected and polished his skill. But this more than angered his 'Elders' and the folk and they labelled him as an outcast.

Dejected and hurt, he moved away from his pupil and started practicing in the far lands. Days n Years passed and he could now fly at the terminal velocity. He had acquired the skill of a master and was really happy to be doing what he loved most.
He gathered that it was out of boredom that his other folk had such short life spans while he managed to have a healthy, long life span.

Some more years passed until he was escorted by two extremely skillful gulls to a land where he would find more Outcasts like him. On reaching there, he thought he had entered heaven, but it was a new world where the gulls of similar capabilities as him lived. He was glad to be a part of the world where there was so much to learn and explore. He met an elder named chiang, who tought him to fly with infinite speed,to leave behind the bounderies of space and time that had bound him.Now John himself trained the 'freshers' in the new world and helped them with his knowledge.

Even though John was having a beautiful time he wished he could do something for his folk who still live in ignorance. The people who live to eat n not vice versa ;).
So along with with 7 of his students he decides to travel back to his Old world. The Old World people got umbraged to see an OUTCASTS in their land. A rule was passed of Total Ignorance of The outcasts lest face Outcastism themselves.

The Eight Gulls start practicing everyday n display their mersmerizing flying skills to the other folk. The Folk slowly start getting tempted to the art n secretly ask for lessons. This enrages the Elder folk n they attack John. However, John forgives them as he is affectionate towards his pupil. This makes the folk of his old land make the choice of learning the new skill..to chose freedom over tradition and learning over ignorance.Thousands of the common gulls decide to unravel the facets of flying, something they never dared to explore earlier.

Now John has reached a stage where he has learnt all about kindness, love and affection and hence is invited to another new world...where he would have newer things to learn...and yes a step closer to perfection...a step closer to the real Heaven!

The Poor Rich!

This is a short story I read while scanning through my mail...Wud like to share it with you..

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?""It was great, Dad..." "Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked."Oh yeah," said the son. "So, tell me, what you learned from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them." The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

- Sometimes its not about what you make of yourself...its about what u feel for others that teaches you the wisest lessons of life!

Good Day :)

Loads to Do... My Travel Log :)

.
.
Well Well.. I am back to blogging after a good long hiatus of about a month :)

Last month I was wondering wat to do (my previous blog) with all the time I had... U know wat!! I got an excellent solution for the problem... I indulged into the things that I enjoy most...Thats Traveling n Photography...Ya ya..wen u talk of the first the second one becomes quite obvious!

The last month has been exciting! There have been loads of ayes and naes regarding the trip...To go or not to go...there wer issues of all types and kinds..passport issues, days scheduling, office permissions, timing issues n wat not..But finally the moment occured...everything got sorted by itself and finally we were to go to The Trip! We included Ma ,Pa ,Di n Me.... And the trip comprised of 4 places... Chennai, Port Blair, Malaysia n Singapore. This was to be my first jaunt to a foreign land n this made me super excited. With the dates being finalized (Aug 6-Aug 15) the grand excersice of packing began! Countless Lists were made..the Shopping Spree was forever on..Bags were packed,Checked n rechecked...n finally the D Day Arrived :)
.

Above: My Stint wid the Camera ;)

Heres My TRAVEL LOG-

Day 1- Got up early to catch the flight to chennai...reached the airport...forgot to pre confirm the flight timings...n yes AI dint dissapoint ;)...the flight got delayed..reached chennai late at arnd 4 in the evening... Anyways, cheked in the hotel got ready in a haste to head off to Marina beach. A beach with a very wide shore, pretty sight to catch the sunset! Next we headed to the St. Thomas church, an interesting place.

Day 2- Again an early morning flight. This time to port blair. Port Blair is an exotic place to visit. A small scarcely populated city with wonderful weather. Its quite n peaceful there. The beauty is fascinating. Visited the infamous Cellular Jail...KALA PANI...caught up with the sound n light program as well. A must see place for every Indian. Also went to the Ross Island..which was pretty adventurous because of the boat ride! Otherwise beautiful sights to c there.

Day 3- Early morning flight to Chennai again. After landing, took some time off to rest n headed to Mahabalipuram, a place 60 kms from the city, famous for the architechtural beauty of the templed made by the Pallava Dynasty.

Day 4- Had a late night flight to Kaula Lumpur, so missed a night's sleep :(... Anyways u dont expect to get ur full quota of sleep on holiday na! The KL airport was awsm...The city was clean n pretty. We headed to Genting Highlands, a theme park located at a hill. The whether there was outstanding, the chilly wind was refreshing. The people were most helpful and accommodating. The rides were fantabulous and left us on a high! The only rough experience could be the lack of vegetarian food there :(

Day 5- The next day we headed for Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, checked into Hotel Grand Continental. We kept the day for ourselves. Rest and local market tours were on our agenda for the day. Little India was a little walk away, so we went there for local hunting and of course a filling Indian dinner! :)

Day 6
- We had the city tour lined up for the day. We moved around the city, full of beautiful buildings. The flora of the place was particularly fascinating. The tour bus took us to the Petronas Twin Towers, The Golden Triangle, The Kings Palace, Museum and the National Monument. In the evening went to the Malls (The Pavilion) and the China Town (similar to our very own Janpath).

Day 7- We had a morning train to Singapore. So the day was consumed in traveling. However our hotel in Singapore was just opposite The Mustafa..A shopping Paradise..so we used the evening to good effect ;)

Day 8- We had a trip to the Santosa Islands in the afternoon. So morning was dedicated to Mustafa and the later part of the day to Santosa, for which we had to take the cable car. It was a good experience. Got a clear view of the Singapore port from the top! Santosa was fantabulous, went to the Dolphin Lagoon show, the 4 D magic show, the aquarium…I gotta touch the star fish thr! And saw the museum..the most interesting one Ive ever scene n then there was the Songs of the seas..which was simply spectacular.

Day 9- The Day was dedicated to the City tour and the Night Safari.
The city tour was informative and gotta visit a number of places like the Merlion, the Port, The Singapore Opera House, a Chinese Temple.
The culture of Singapore is a motley of the Chinese, South Indian, Malay and British. The Laws are extremely strict and the cost of living is high. N u know what...Indians gave singapore its name.. Its called Singhapura by its natives which means a city of Lions in Hindi!!. And Uptil 40 years back Singapore was pretty much the part of Malaysia as its 14th state...but later it separated.
The night Safari was interesting too. Saw wild life really close. there..but no flash was allowed in cameras so cudnt take any pics at night :(

Day 10- The last day of the trip, had to head back to home now! Had a flight to Delhi at 4 so practically left with no time for sightseeing. Packing, Relaxing was on priority that day. Reached the Airport at 1 pm….n finally boarded the flight.

It was a nice, hassle free holiday for the family giving us great joy!

Adieu Singapore….Wish to see u again :)

What 2 do!!!???!!!

..
Well I am undergoing a phase of total vellapan just like most of my college mates. College is over… CAT 07 is history…joining date is months away…so now its just “ Me n Meri tanhayi

It was May 15th when I gave my last exam… Yar 2 mahine ho gye koi exam diye hue..ajeeb sa lag raha hai!! This is called PES aka Post Engg Syndrome ;)
So in this time apart from trying a few non pragatish things…I resorted to blogging…n I am loving it :)
The first month of my break was exciting. We finally got our farewell. It was like a fancy dress competition ;) everyone dressed up in pink, blue n purple…trying to look their best. The last adios and the endless photo sessions marked the day. Over the next week, the pics got exchanged on picassa, photo albums were updated on orkut and expert comments were given on every pose n style!

Once the farewell bit was over, I packed my bags n moved over to my mausi’s place. A motley of activities kept me occupied there. From baby sitting, to kite flying, to craftwork, to dilli darshan (I finally visited the Red fort!),to completing practical files for my cousin :(, to playing mindless games, n watching Disney, pogo, hungama for hours n hours. It was fun to be a kiddo again!
As a kid I remember waiting for chutti chutti every morning in the summer breaks, then there was Tales Spin n Duck Tales telecasted on DD Metro on Sunday mornings.I would watch I dream of jennie and Arnold at my nani’s place in the vacations. When we got cable TV at home,I fell in love with Popeye n Tom n jerry of course. Alladin was another favourite. As a teenager I watched Small Wonder with all my devotion.
And my cousins now watch Vikral n Gabral n Shh koi hai for entertainment…God..it scared the wits out of me!!

From chutti chutti to chinchan, we’ve witnessed the change ;)
Now kids have got 4 different channels dedicated for toons…how I am jealous! N irritated sometimes, they dint let me watch anything else!
Finally when I realized all of it was rather damaging my brain cells..I thought of returning back ;).

Now I am back home again doing nothing. So now the question is what 2 do!
I keep planning for a lot of things, like the trip to vaishno devi wid friends, which is in the ever postponement loop!
Any suggestions, comments are forever welcome!

Oh ya I made my first half cooked chapatti in this break..so I actually did something ;)

Move On...

.
.
Stage one was over…The next stage was my destination
The world unfolded itself, beating my imagination....

Leaving the comfort hurts, I felt alone in the pack
There’s so much to learn and so few to pat....

I felt shaky, confused and earthy
Amongst the crowd, I had to find someone worthy....

I looked around, who ever came my way I made them my own
Alas it was a mistake, for I had to test the unknown....

Slowly I shed my shell, took up challenges
Look I am growing now, n now I am off my hinges....

The challenges gave me conviction and belief
Now I can correct the wrong n that has brought me peace....

The new ones understand me n let me be ME
I am happy now and I feel free....

Its not like all the old ones are gone
I have clung to those I thought I belonged....

-Pragati

PS- Its Abstract yet very personal :)

Jab We Met

.
What is it with this movie?

I have watched it umpteenth no. of times n can watch it a million more times.
And then its music..its simply fantabulous!

I never get tired of listening to the nagada number or the aao ge kab tum melody. And then theres Tum se hi…Mohit Suri’s voice just blends in like butter on a hot baked bread!

The direction n dialogues by Imtiaz Ali…Simply Mind Blowing!!
This guy has got some brains …his earlier flicks Socha na Tha n Saathiya wer equally awesome. He knows the youth psyche n portrays it well!

Then theres Aditya Kashyap…In which factory has he been churned out from!
He looks dashing, behaves sensibly, earns a million and sings so well … Watta guy!
Yar aise ladke train pe hi milte hain kya? ;)

I’m sure every girl who watched the movie would have taken some part of Geet with her.
The vivacious sikhni is simply adorable. She’s chirpy, loves herself deeply ( mein apni sabse favourite hoon ;) ),modest...( Bhaiya ab mera hath chod do..mein itni bhi sunder nhi hun ), kiddish and she is completely kkrazzy.
I wish I was just as crack as her if not more :P

JWM Gyan

- Jawan Ladki Khuli tijori ki tarah hoti hai

- Ratlam Ki Galiyon se gujrein to Hotel descent na jayein!

- Bhatinda jayein to ganne ke khet zaroor dekhen (Ask anshuman about the where abouts ;))

- Methods to get over ur ex-> jala do Sali ko…ya…phone karo :P

- A mast bargain-> 1 roop ke sath aadhi geet muft muft muft!

- Jab b tum kuch sachi mein chahte ho,actually mein, to wo tumhe zaroor milta hai

- Next time u board a train, keep a check, may be your Adi Kashyap’s waitin for u ;)

My first Day at College..

.
Its been 4 years now..n my Engineering degree is complete…yet the first day of my college is still fresh in my memory.Everything seems lyk it just happened yesterday.

College gives you a new lease of life..you can start afresh and the first day is particularly special as it more or less decides the company you would have in the coming years....

Read on...

When I entered an engineering college..unfortunately it wasn’t the college of my dreams. My dream of entering a premier institute had just been shattered and as destiny would have it I entered the same college for which I had been teasing my sister for 2 years.Yes, after school we were supposed to study at the same place again!
2 years elder to me she was my super senior at college. I settled for the same branch as her.

Well to be honest this college wasn’t that bad..but there was one issue...This was a girls College! Well u think..no Big deal n y the fuss…think of 70 girls packed in 1 class room..I hope now u empathise ;)

Well..it started with the orientation day which I gleefully missed..ya I bunked the first day of colg :P..I thought I have my sis to show me the place anytime.

Aug 2, 2004

Day 1- It rained that day..so I was late for the colg..as I entered the building..I was awed to see the campus..It was like a bhulbhulaiya..huge n complicated. I first met few of my sister’s classmates n said a nervous hello n moved on. Next was the electrical Block..I saw a gang of girls staring at me..Errrrr…Wat was dat..I hadn’t still entered the class room n wud I be ragged first up…someone Phlz help..However, I gathered some courage n moved upto them..Oieee….They were my to be classmates (They were big n mature..did I luk lyk a baby??)

Next I moved to the class only to find that I had already missed my first lecture! (Oh boy! I was getting into the college mode rather fast…already missing classes).
Next was the Ranga Rao Lab n I moved on…I met Shreya there..a nice simple luking girl…she asks me…hi r u a day shcy? Ohh..now wat in the world was dat supposed to be..shud I ask..wud it luk silly…Oh hell..I asked her…err..sorry wat did u say…she smiled n told me that it’s the short form of day scholar..(Hmm…. welcome to the world of short forms from now on day scholar wud be day schy, Analog Electronics wud be AE, calculator wud be calcy, Gangadharappa Sir wud be GD )
That moment I counted her as a friend and chose her company for the rest of the day…for the large part of the day we were running from one place to another…sometimes for classes n most of the times escaping from the clutches of ragging ;)

Meanwhile my sis walks up to me in the midst of the day to tell me that she is leaving as now she is free and asked if I could get by home by myself. I immediately said OK! After all this was my chance to prove I’m a big girl now.

Finally the day ended at 5 and I was anxious as to how wud I get back. ..Ya right anxious coz…I was at this place 20 Kms away from home..with no idea of buses or routes.. but Just then I found Parul (I gotta know that she lived 2 blocks away from my place). I was so relieved to have her with me.

I don’t really remember the ride back home in the DTC buses but the one thing I wont ever forget is that I found my best friend on the way back home :)

I entered the place as a confused and an eager teenager….
I am still confused and eager…its just that m not a teenager anymore ;)

The Alchemist

Hmm...This is some book!

I mentioned about this book in my earlier blog "The fifth Mountain" ,I mentioned as to how much I hated this book...well now I'm dedicating an entire blog to this book!

Well I re read the book for the simple reasons ...

a) Found it in my cousins book shelf

b) A very thin book :)

c) I barely remembered it

d) Had loads of spare time

e) Everyone says Alchemist is a gr8 buk..

So, Mr. Cohelo here I am trusting you one more time....

Well Alchemist is a very simple story, simply told...no flashy words so is an easy read.

It is a story of a boy in the pursuit of his destiny, now he dares to follow his dreams and what he learns on the journey towards the hidden treasure his destiny has in store for him.

The shepherd boy is happy with his flock of sheep until a day he sees treasure in his dreams. The dream is reoccurent which disturbs the boy a bit. The boy decides to visit a gypsy women to get the dream interpreted. The woman tells him to go to Egypt and that is the place where his treasure lies.He doubts the woman and decides not to believe her.

The moment he thought of forgetting all about the dream, the shepherd met the king of Salem. The king of Salem helped people realize their dreams by helping them and pushing them just when they are thinking of giving it all up.The King assured him that his dream was his destiny and he ought to follow it.He told that the omens would guide him to reach his treasure. The shepherd new nothing about Egypt except that the place had Pyramids which were famous. He knew that traveling to Egypt would require a lot of money and was confident that a trade of his sheep would yield him enough money. And hence his quest for treasure begun. The shepherd traded his sheep for money and decided to set off for his journey to Egypt. But as destiny would have it,all his money was stolen and to his dismay the boy finds himself in a foreign land with no money,no sheep,no food.

The shepherd realizes there is still something that he has not lost. His will to work. The boy decides to work somewhere to earn enough money to buy his sheep. He began his work as a cleaner in a crystal shop and later worked hard to improve the sales in the shop to earn handsome profits.Meanwhile he learned the local language and enjoyed his work.He learned that although the place was different from where he came from yet there is a universal language that governs everyone. After about an year he earned enough money to travel to Egypt and hence he set forth.

The journey to Egypt was in a caravan. The caravan had to cross the desert on camels. The desert was a deadly place to go as there was danger of plunderers and desert wars.He had an Englishman for company who wanted to be an Alchemist, someone who could turn lead to gold.
The silent desert teaches him the universal language he had once heard of.He became friends with the desert and began to read the omens set for him. The Englishman was in quest for an Alchemist who lived in an oasis in the derest to learn the art from him. The war broke out in the desert and they took refuge in the oasis.

The oasis was a neutral ground and no war could be fought there. Thus was considered safe. The shepherd and the Englishman began their search for the alchemist. One day on the oasis the shepherd met an oasis girl and fell in love with her. The shepherd already had gained reputation in the oasis for his ability to read omens and thus was content and happy with his life there. The alchemist wanted to teach to only an able follower and thus he tested them and chose the shepherd capable of learning the art and so he decided to guide the shepherd to his destiny ie the treasure that lay hidden in Egypt.

The journey from the oasis to Egypt was adventurous for the two. They met plunderers on their way ad the understanding of the universal language became clearer to the shepherd. He could now talk to the sand and could be the wind himself. He became certain of achieving his target ie the treasure.

On reaching Egypt the shepherd was deserted by the Alchemist and was told to follow his destiny alone.

Will the shepherd get his treasure or all these sufferings would be in vain?
Well...read the book and you will know ;)

The Fifth Mountain..

This is the title of the new book I hav just read .. by PAULO COELHO. I had read one of his more famous books "The alchemist" some yrs ago..n aftr eading it I sweared not 2 read another buk of his ever! For I wasnt able to decifer that one..nor understand y ppl lykd it sooo much! The male protagonist spoke to "the sand" for full 4 pages there!...which I thought made little sense.

I had The fifth mountain wid me for quite some time now bt never really desired to read it..ofcourse for the reasons mentiond...but out of sheer boredom I decided to giv it a try..N I am glad I did it!!

The fifth mountain is set in the backdrop of Egypt n a place called Akbar(no connections to the King...Alas the only name in the buk that was familiar) and at a time wen mountains wer considered Gods..Battles wer fought for religion n Gods..to see whose Gods are the strongest!
(Here its about the Gods of the fifth mountain and the One lord)

Its about a guy named Elijah..his tyrst wid his destiny..his belief in his GOD..his struggle wid his God(referred as One Lord)..his realization of love n the true identification of self n the purpose of his existence.
The story is about this common boy Elijah who thinks he is uncommon for he is able to hear the voice of God...yet he discovers how common he is for he is a mere pawn at the hands of the Lord.
In his quest to serve God and to communicate his message of peace, belief and religion;Elijah lands in a foreign land called Akbar where he is taken care by a women(a young widow) and her son (As per Gods Orders).Akbar is about to be attacked and if attacked Akbar's loss is inevitable.Elijah along with the governer tries hard to evert a battle through negotiations, but The priest because of his false pride insists for a War. N thus AKBAR is attacked and ruined.Elijah losses the young widow in the confusion of the war .The young widow before dying says...Im not going anywhere..I'll always stay in Akbar. The boy (widow's son) insists on rebuilding Akbar as he thinks her mother is Akbar and so Akbar should be beautiful. But Elijah sees it as imposible as the city is grounded.
The events leave Elijah devastated and he breaks his ties with God and his angel. He believes that god had cheated with him by taking the young women away. Elijah now questions what his actual purpose for existence is.He questions himself if he has actually done anything in life worthy of courage. All he has done in life uptil now as in accordance with Gods will. But God Had Cheated him.So he shall find his own way now.
Self realization strikes him and he starts with the onimous task of rebuilding Akbar.
Akbar that is left with the old,the women, the children n heaps of bodies of the young men.
He convices the old to bring back the strength of their youth, the women folk to believe that there is a future for their children.Elijah finds joy in the new task he has assigned himself n discovers that this was Gods way of teaching him that "Past is Perishable..Look ahead"
He learns that even children can teach us things-being happy , keeping yourself busy and asking for anything without fear.
Elijah and the folks work day in and out to rebuild Akbar. He inspires ppl to learn Byblos or the alphabet and is named the governor of Akbar. Prosperity of Akbar is restored.
Now Elijah is revisited by the Lord's Angel to give him the message to return to his home and restore peace in his state by proving the existance of the One Lord.He is granted one power and one chance to do it.
Elijah willfully obeys and leaves......... leaving behind the city which taught him life.......

Worth a thought!

As a day passes, as the time slides away..
Seldom do we pause and let the thoughts sway...

What I ought to do,What is it I wished for today..
The lamp I lit,is it for a deeper cause or just the light's ray...

Who am I,why am I the way I am..
Is there a purpose behind this mindless game...
As a day passes,as the time slides away..
I wish I knew the reason for today...

Why just today, as the night gallops the day..
making it a week , month and year...
As the time makes its way ..
I wish and yes I shall make it all clear!!!
